cod2 server refresh problem

earlier today, i was trying to connect to a call of duty 2 server through xfire, but the "loading map" progress bar locked up, and nothing happened. Also, i tried to connect to the same server through cod2 (not xfire), but when i tried to refresh the server list, no servers came up
