I was trying to play COD WWII PC beta lastnight on my 5960x and 1800x rigs last night and was having a heck of a time with it loading the multiplayer beta. I would wait and wait and many times get a Server interruption message-no connection.

Well, a poster on the Steam forum suggested disabling Preshader loading in the advanced graphics settings. Guess what?
IT WORKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I hope this tip helps you. I already preordered this game. It will take some time to get used to.

users being really critical of the beta tells me that either it's just as accessible as any other COD game or they are finally realizing that they're paying for the same thing year after year. the latter doesn't really seem to be possible considering the immediate audience but I was actually hoping for a solid return to form. that sort of thing is a bit of a pipe dream these days though.

The beta runs and plays well and it has saved me some money, as I was seriously considering buying this beforehand.

Its literally the exact same game as the past several iterations only in a WW2 setting. Im not sure why, but I was hoping this one would be better. I havent played any CoD in years now, and was in the top 3 of every game I played, its like riding a bike.....the same tired, ugly, old broken down bike.
