This weekend only, Call of Duty: World at War is on sale for 50% off the regular price. Play in single-player, Multi-player, or co-op modes as you are immersed in the most gritty and chaotic WWII combat ever experienced. Also includes the recently-released Map Pack 1: Four new maps, featuring the fan favorite 4-player co-op Zombies Bonus Mode in "Verruckt," a terrifying Zombie asylum located in the outskirts of Berlin.

Plus, earn double experience points in multi-player games this weekend during the sale.

Decent game but I didn't think it was as good as COD4. A lot of the rounds devolved into constant artillery strikes and dog attacks after a few minutes. I felt that was a bit overpowered. Not that helis and air strikes in COD4 were much better. I'd rather wait for Modern Warfare 2.

I'm all over this if Valve can reactivate my 4-year old disabled steam account. 😕

good luck with that, start sending emails. i had to get help with an old account when if ound my half life 2 retail disc.

i had to spend a week of emails and send pictures of the disc with a code from valve written on the art to get access back.

Currently I'm living in a place without fast broadband (about 60 KB/s tops) but I'll be at home with 10 mb cables. Can I buy the game now but download the actual files later? I'm sure this is possible, but I just want to make sure.

Yep you just log into your Steam account and you can download it.

Sorry for the offtopic question, but if I register a new account and later get my old one reactivated (or not) is there a way to register my old retail HL2 with the new account or can it only be associated with one account at one time? I've never had any real experience with Steam, just when I bought HL2 back then.

EDIT: created a new account and tried to re-add the key, and it wouldn't let me even though my old account is disabled 😕 :| *sigh* guess I won't be able to get in on this deal 🙁

EDIT2: Awesome, Valve helped me get my account back early this afternoon! Can't wait to play COD:WaW!
