COD: WAW....Multiplayer Stuttering BAD

Just installed World at War on my new system and the game stutters/freezes like all hell in every server. Ran perfect before on my Q9550/4870x2 setup. I'm pretty sure it's not the 280's or Nvidia's drivers though because it runs great in single player. My ping is usually well under 50 on most servers I play on and my frame rate stays @ 91. So far all other games I've played run fine...single or mp.

All Vista 64 updates and drivers have been installed.

Things I've tried:

Updating punkbuster
Running as Admin
Running in compatibility mode
Turning UAC off
Dealing with it...

Also done:

Turning off the EVGA Precision On screen display(fps, temp, clock speed monitor,...just thought of this...)
Reinstalling the game
Port forwarding(shouldn't make a difference)
Yelling at the monitor...

EDIT: I added punkbusterA and B to avg's exception list and it seems like the problem might have gone away. The only stuttering that I notice now is when the map first loads it will hang every now and then when somebody joins the server. I think I saw this in COD4 before as well. Some servers were just fine and some would hang when somebody joined.

Ok, well turning off EVGA Precision did nothing, nor did yelling at the monitor. I tried reinstalling/repatching as well and it didn't help. Really the only thing that I can think of now is to bypass my DGL-4100 and go straight to the cable modem(which is new). Still not experiencing any packet loss or high ping. One other thing I could try is disabling Hyper Threading or setting the affinity to just 2 cores or something...maybe it has something to do with drivers/8 threads? Running out of options...

Hmmm...I do have rivatuner forcing 3D clocks because of the stupid low power 3D throttling issue the new nvidia drivers have(or at least had with the first 180 series release...not sure if 181.20 still has this issue). I could uninstall rivatuner, precision, and the nvidia drivers....and just put 181.20 back on...

Just keeping you guys updated in case anyone else is experiencing the same problem.

I've have COX... 20Mbps Down(max) 1.5 or 2.5 Mbps Up... I wish Verizon was here with there FIOS...but I can't complain because my buddy is using Sprint Mobile broadband(lack of options).

On the vcore.....um.....~1.54ish(bios)

Temps are fine though... low to mid 60's(C) on all cores(8 threads of Small FFTs). Room temp is usually @ 70F. Nice temps for water and the vcore I'm pushing but it does come at a cost...my water pump weighs in at ~ 10lbs. Panworld and Iwaki =

Until the newest EVGA bios I couldn't get anything stable(8 thread prime) above 190blck. The new bios is much better. Now I'm stable with HT and Turbo on @ 201blck. Multi stays @ 21x on all cores no matter what I'm doing.

I've been doing some reading and it sounds like it probably is punk buster.

I'll let you guys know if I find the culprit.

I like games... but I'm addicted to hardware.

Running a higher vcore can shorten the lifespan...especially with out proper cooling. I'm not too worried though as (from what I've read) Intel states 1.55v as max(but that might be just forum talk). All I need it to do is last until Octo-cores show up. ;)

Yes, I tried running at stock last night. Made no difference. Others have reported the same. I'm thorough on stability testing. You can't always just run prime or memtest alone. :)

Already updated punkbuster but I think I need to look into it a bit more.
