COD:MW3 info leaked

Thanks. I would be interested in knowing when this is going to be released. So far it doesn't appear to be happening in 2011.

that appears to be mostly single player stuff. There was some map info leaked I saw somewhere else, but that does not seem to be huge to me. At least from a MP standpoint(I don't care about SP). Is that MP leak not a huge deal because their core gameplay isn't changing one bit, to the extent that the only thing that would even matter to be leaked is the maps?

Either way it would be nice if DICE would start dropping more BF3 info. Now that MW3's cards are on the table, their claims of not releasing relevant details for fear of being copied are losing validity.

There's a long list of multiplayer maps, however I doubt all of those maps will be in the final game. Black Ops mode is back, as well as survival mode a la zombie mode from Black Ops.

You mean spec ops? And yeah I doubt all those maps will be available upon release. Im sure they will charge $15 per map pack as per usual.

Like Black Ops before it this will be terrible. They will never recapture the glory of the firt Modern Warfare. CoD games are now lowest common denominator games.

I was reading through that story, and damn it sounds like some really retarded outlandish shit. They might as well just make it an alien invasion at this point.

I'll give them the benefit of the doubt to the story as the shit that happened during WWII seemed pretty outlandish and fictional as well, if it didn't ACTUALLY happen.

MW1's story was pretty awesome, kept me interested the entire way through (it's also still the best story I've seen in an FPS). I didn't mind MW2's story so much, it went all zany with the whole backstabbing bit, but overall wasn't horrible.

As for Black Ops, let's just say I stop caring about anything after an hour.

Hmm, looks like more of the same. One of the main reasons I quit WoW. Wheres the innovation? I dont buy FPS for the single player, so until I hear theyre doing something different with the multiplayer I could careless about this game.

Well, now I can save 60.00. Just play one of the older games and imagine these scenarios!!!

Seriously, sounds OK, but COD is getting old. COD4 was great (and 1 and 2 of course), but the series has gone downhill from there. Hard to get really excited about COD anymore. And the whole Russia invading the US still sounds pretty unlikely. Russia is in even worse shape than we are.

How about this scenario: The US defaults on all it debts and China invades us to seize our assets??

I wouldn't say it's going downhill, but I will admit each release is really more of the same. I have been a fan of the series since the 1st game, and continue to get hours of enjoyment out of it to this day. When MW3 comes out I will likely buy it. Although I am not one of those gamers who buys 1 or 2 games per year. I buy lots of games from all different genres, so I'm not just feeding the evil corporation that is Activision.

These things are becoming disposable too. Even multiplayer. They need to stop using unlockables to artificially extend longevity, and try some innovative and balanced gameplay and maps for a change.

LoL. Not to get all P&N but the reality is that they don't need to invade. They already own tons of companies and buildings in the US since our currency is so devalued by Bernanke.

Anyways...enough on this. COD has been a joke since COD:MW and that's not going to change.

lather/rinse/repeat

I refuse, REFUSE to buy this garbage....60 bucks for a few hours of single player and the same multiplayer as before...no thanks. I'll wait til it's $5 on steam, and I know that's gonna be a few years but I can wait, it's really nothing special.

Not purchasing another CoD named game ever. Don't really care how great it is; they've let me down far too much to get any more of my money until Activision realizes that we need something new and original, not rehashes of the same game every year.
