Yeah, that's pretty sweet. I've gone from skeptical that I'll purchase MW2 this year to planning on getting it day one. Should be awesome.

i am nowhere near good enough in COD games to ever come close to getting a nuke.

I've hit 22 once and 23 once, can't seem to break that barrier.

Overall though I expect to see a Tactical Nuke used maybe once or twice in the 2+ years I play.

I only ever hit 17 in CoD4... maybe with some of the other new killstreak rewards I could get a few more. But in CoD4 I usually saved my chopper until I died so I could start off with a good streak after I respawned.

I don't actually see any indication in that video that the tactical nuke is a killstreak reward; it could just be the objective you have to complete in one of the game types.

Actually if you're smart you probably won't and I'll tell you why...

Here is a list of the killstreaks:

3 Kills:
UAV - Shows enemies of the mini-map.

4 Kills:
Care-Package - Airdrop a random killstreak or ammo.
Counter-UAV - Temporary disables enemy radar.

5 Kills:
Sentry Gun - Airdrop a place-able Sentry Gun.
Predator Missile - Remote control missile.

6 Kills:
Precision Airstrike - Call in a directional airstrike

7 Kills:
Harrier Strike - Airstrike with a hovering harrier.
Attack Helicopter - Call in a support helicopter.

8 Kills:
Emergency Airdrop - Airdrop 4 random killstreaks or ammo.

9 Kills:
Pave Low - Heavily armored assault helicopter.
Stealth Bomber - Airstrike undetectable on enemy maps.

11 Kills:
Chopper Gunner - Be the gunner of an attack helicopter.
AC-130 - Be the gunner of an AC-130.

15 Kills:
EMP - Temporarily disables enemy electronics.

25 Kills:
Tactical Nuke - End the game with a bang.

You've got 15 possible killstreak bonuses. Now you have to pick 3 of those to use. So, are you going to pick 2 that you get to use and save the 3rd for the 1 in 500 games that you hit 25 kill streaks? Probably not. You're going to pick killstreak bonuses that you can use often.

The 15 streak EMP is achieveable (I hit 15 pretty often), but to stretch that another 66% longer isn't worth it to me.

I'd probably pick a UAV, Airstrike, and AC-130 or something like that. Something you're going to actually use.

Luckily next Wednesday is a holiday, I get the day after release off to play all day. Couldn't have planned it better.

Yikes, 5.3 kill ratio would be one of the highest I've ever seen.

Mine was a 1.61 although it should be alot higher. I took a long break and came back and was awful, typically I'm between 1.8 and 2.5. Over the past few months I've taken it from a 1.37 to where it is now (and I'm on my 7th or 8th prestige).

Holy carp that's high.

About 1.5 months ago, I had a 0.75 ratio (9000K/12000D). I started to play again daily after playing W@W for some time, and I got it to just over 1:1 last night. So for the last month and a half, my ratio has been about 2, which I thought was really good. 😛

My ratio is about 1.7 or so, word.

A 5.3 k/d ratio sounds good, but I can almost guarantee he started a new account to get it.

I reckon mine would be around 8 or 9 if I started again.

As it is, its currently 3.42 with 333k kills on Live.

I let so many friends play on my account at my place that I doubt my ratio is above 1
