COD multi

Hi. I just got COD2 and finished the single player, and Im not hitting the multi.

Well, I thought that going in it would be just like the old days of the original COD, fast paced big fire fight bliss that I happily gave hours of my life per day to.

But after playing COD2 multi....it just seems....nerfed. The action seems slower, the audio changes just...dont do it for me.

At the height of my COD play, I got into BF42 at the tail end of the DC frenzy (damn do I miss those days too) and subsiquently dropped COD multi from my hard drive.


Basically, are there alot of people still playing the COD multi or has it gone by the wayside like bf42?

For those that have both games and current versions of each, how close are the two in terms of gameplay, speed ect?

The reason why COD2 multi feels nerfed is because you are missing the vehicles from United Offensive...

God...I *really* want the COD2 expansion to have vehicles...so I can relive the good 'ol days of UO and BF1942!

um, the cod2 expansion is called CoD3...

the default settings for CoD2 suck ass. if you can find a good server with a good mod, its makes it 10x better.

COD cannot be topped by COD2 or COD3. It's in a league of its own.

i loved CoD til they nerfed the jumping in like the 3rd big patch. it just got more and more boring since then. i wonder if there are any servers that are unpatched

I thought that the health system of COD2 made the game way more fun than the original COD. The only problems I found with COD2 was that: the shotgun was too easy to kill with; and that some of my favorite levels from COD, example: prison yard, didn't make it. It was a shame. Those two things really take away from COD2.

BTW, I hated United Offensive. Vehicles suck! I want ground combat.

COD multiplayer is really stupid now though. I would stick with COD2. Everyone is COD is now keen on using only rifles. Most servers allow only rifles now, because I they think it takes skill, but they are just idiots. It's easier to kill with rifles. But since most of the weapons aren't there, it kills the game.

Ah yes! I started playing COD and loved the multiplayer because I was a huge Q3 fan. I tried out COD2 and was not a huge fan...
