Thats not how it worked on MW2 IIRC. Hasn't been any official announcement though

It's kinda dumb that that's how it is going to work; unfortunately I have a feeling it'll be the same way to retail users even, since steam is required. So even though the game "releases" at midnight it probably wont be installable until morning

This was not true last time they pulled that shit (for MW2 I think). People hustled on over to gamestop, got a cd key from the midnight and were able to play @ midnight. Thats why it rages me a little.

The only problem I have with video game pricing is that mostly quality and substance in games have gone down. Singleplayer games now normally run no more than 8hrs and multiplay has been dumbed down as well since video games have finally become extremely mainstream with this generation so they need to cater to the average person.

what else is new.. as long as there are Rtards willing to give the hackers 20 bucks a month for fresh unbanned wall/aim bots the problem will exist..

I was shocked after a quick google search after a very frustrating day in BFBC2 knowing full well I was in cover and being ganked over and over by the same guy literally as soon as I spawned.
there are several sites out there that sell subscriptions to these Aim/wallhacks and constantly keep a new version out as soon as PB detects the old one.

I miss the old days of Quake on floppy disk and a private lan of friends playing evenly on games..

they had hacks for mw2 before it was even released.....so care cup is empty. the difference is that blackops has dedicated servers and admins so you cann kick hackers....you cant in mw2(at least you couldnt on release)

target does have clearance sales on cod games. mw2 was selling for 40 bucks a few weekends after the intial rush at target.
