i'm so sick of call of duty, but that looks kinda cool because it actually doesn't just look like more of the same. doubt i'll get it, but looks pretty neat.

My thoughts exactly. Glad they are doing something different, but I still won't be in any hurry to play it. Unless, by some miracle, the campaign turns out to be quite good.

I'm actually glad they are more closely following Black Ops with the Pick 13. I always thought the Black Ops games were superior.

I guess I have to go find this video elsewhere because Google sucks and wants me to make a stupid account because of the "mature content."

Don't you use Gmail, have an android phone, or otherwise have a google account by other means? Log in using that info.

I might actually watch this, but even if I do get this (leaning towards 'yes' on that front), it is unlikely I will play the campaign. The last COD campaign I fully beat was COD2. I skipped the entire game of 3 and I only got about half way through 4. They just aren't that interesting. FPS are made to be play with other people!

Had Android from 2010-2012, dumped that hard. Gave the account to my little brother for his Galaxy player. Never touched GMail. Google offers no service I want to use, and none to the point I want to hand over my personal information to them.

I'll find a third-party recording of it or a site where it's embedded past the age gate.

So let me get this straight...you admittedly hate iOS. You said "if I was developing an app I'd avoid iOS cause I hate it" or something like that. You now claim to hate android. So...do you not have a smartphone at all?

Also, in case you didn't know this already. Your personal information is already online. You can't avoid that at this point. It's no use worrying who knows your name. Microsoft, Google, Facebook...it doesn't matter....you are out there on the internet.

There's lots of FPS games with good stories to go along with them and don't require competitive MP to be worth the time of day.

Oh, and just because SOMEONE has my information, it doesn't mean that I'm going to give it to everyone. I mean, someone in the world hates me, but it doesn't mean I'm going to go give EVERYONE a reason to. In the same vein, I provide my personal information when I consider it a useful excuse. I don't consider a game trailer a worthy excuse. Papa John's reards points for free pizza? Hell yes. Call of Duty multiplayer video? No.

Don't think I'll get this unless it's for sale on some kind of deal. I stopped playing cod mp a while ago and the whole futuristic feel of it didn't really attract me much. Looks cool but more of the same I bet. Probably will have to see how it turns out.

Actually 4 had a great single player. It's still considered one of the best single player FPS experiences of recent memory.

Why do you assume MS is anywhere NEAR better than Google or Apple. I never got this.

Yeah, they all suck in their own way. Microsoft was one of the first to cave in to the NSA domestic spying program, apple one of the last but they all caved and gave the NSA full access to our info. MS also shares your info through XBL with partners. If you are playing a game online, that game publisher is allowed to gather info on players if they choose. It is in the tos that this happens, but to me that makes sense for a developer and publisher to be able to know the user base that is playing their game.

I worked for MS at a NOC here in North Texas.

All I can tell you is Dredd is 110% correct. You have no expectation of privacy with any of these products. ANY of them. Just accept that it's the way things are and treat all communications using any of these devices as if they were public record. There's no white knights in the megacorporate stratosphere, how do you think they got so successful? By playing the game. And you can't play the game and not walk hand in hand with the biggest mafia of all : the federal government.

What you're doing is assuming that my decision is on a belief that Microsoft is "better," but that's not the case. I trust none of these companies. However, I gave up my personal information because Xbox LIVE was worth it. I'd rather just keep using that one set of credentials that create a second for Google, especially after hating Android while I was using it.

As for Apple, overpriced and uninspiring. I got my 920 on its U.S. release day. After a refund because of a Black Friday sale, I got the 920 for $50, and it came with a $50 wireless charger for free. That's for a device with a high level of durability, a good camera, wireless charging, and 32 GB of storage. My alternative was to pay four times as much for an Android or iOS alternative with less storage, no feature I actually wanted, and the inconvenience of managing a second account.

In all reality, Apple's the only one I actually hate, and it's because of the pricing of their devices. The iPhone 6 (or whatever they name the new devices) will be their first smartphones with HD-resolution displays. The battery life has always been poor. The phones as a whole are too small for my liking (and too fragile). Why spend $200 on-contract for all of those detriments when I can pay $50 on-contract for a 920, which I actually liked the look and feel of (in terms of hardware and OS)?

More importantly, what's so damned interesting about my phone choice?

Either way your info is out there because of Microsoft. You don't need to manage any info in Google for android. It manages it for you kind of like your hotmail account for the Nokia.

Really don't see what the big deal is but you won't find a 920 for $50 all the time, or off contract. I'd rather buy any phone off contract than be in a contract.

Regardless lol everyone already has our info..nothing new here.

Its not your phone choice, it is the companies you gripe about when you advocate for MS a bit.

/facepalm

The only companies I really gripe about are Apple (again, overpriced hardware and restrictive software) and EA (which I'm finally giving into a bit, since their games are becoming reasonably-priced with Access and the Madden 15 trade offer).

It's not necessarily a matter of advocating for Microsoft, either. Their exclusives interest me more in Sony's, and I prefer the WP mobile OS over Android and the need to either accept bloatware or put work into rooting the phone. That, and like I said, I got a phone with everything I wanted, and it was significantly cheaper than the alternatives.

You can say I don't need to manage anything for Google, but the Simple fact that I have to manage a password disproves that. I don't have a use for anything Google makes, beyond YouTube, and I don't need a Google account to make use of that service. As such, there's no legitimate reason as to why I'd bother making an account.
