COD Advanced Warfare multiplayer free?

I'm new to steam and I have a question.
I just created a steam account and Cod: Advanced Warfare multipayer
is on my home page, when I click install it dosent ask for money.
And I am now downloading it. And I was wondering is this a full game?
Will I need to have the non multiplayer version first?


Sorry for the noob questions
 
AW's multi player is free to try for this weekend, come Monday it will no longer work unless you pay to unlock it. The single player campaign is not included in the free trial.
