COD 5 Single Player - length?

Hi,

A bit late to the party but I just finished COD 4 single player. While I enjoyed the game I felt the single player campaign was way too short (finished in about 6-7 hours). Personally, at "normal" difficulty levels, I would like to see a minimum of 8-10 hours.

Is the single player in COD 5 about the same?

I understand playing online is the focus of a lot of games these days but I still prefer a good single player campaign.

It's pretty short, I finished it in two sittings of a few hours each. I liked it a lot better than MW though, and I'll definitely replay the levels in Co-Op mode.

It felt roughly the same length. I enjoyed COD4 a lot more, though some moments in COD5 were alright.

The overall atmosphere of COD4 felt much more immersive, in my opinion, which is rare in an Action or FPS game. The sniper level, while most of it was spoon-fed to you, was all worth it due to the big battle at the end. Do yourself a favor and play it again on the hardest setting.

I just finished COD5 today, started playing it since yesterday a hour or two at a time. I thought it was better than MW, felt longer and the gunfights at the end were epic classic COD style and really fun.

IMO, veteran is the only way to play COD SP. You get enough checkpoints that it's not overwhelmingly difficult to advance, but it gives a much nicer challenge.
