The swastica, when reversed from what is on that plastic toy, is a good luck symbol in many cultures. The way it is presented on that toy is the Nazi version.

link It looks almost like the Nazi one, but I think it might just be due to the manufacturing process.

Long before the Nazi's took that as there symbol it was a religious symbol used in the far east.

It's a shame that a religious symbol is now forever tainted by it's use by the Nazi's :p

I know the Hindu symbol is similar to the Nazi one except it points in the other direction.

I remember my grand ma would draw that on the floor every morning along with other religious symbols (called rangoli).
