Coke or Pepsi only have limited shelf space designated by the corporate of whatever store. They can use those spaces however they want. Coke chooses to use very little of shelf space on coke life so that should tell you how successful it is.

Aspartame is fine in moderation. It does increase all cause mortality by 8% in those who drink alot, so it is technically unhealthy. It breaks down into formaldehyde in the body after all. Or if you wish for that freshing chemical taste, just drink an expired one that sat in heat.

That being said... regular soda is bad for you too. The caramel coloring, the sugar slows down your metabolism, the preservatives, basically all interact and do form some nasty chemicals like 4-MEI

Just go to Home Depot and get the original coke imported from Mexico. It is a sad day when this has to be imported, but the best coke is the Mexican stuff that is still made with sugar and not hfcs. It is like a taste of my childhood all over again.

Buy Mexican coke, problem solved.

Getting better documented that aspartame totally fucks up your gut bacteria. I guess this is kind of important and can have many effects on your body.

Coke is good, but only when it has cane sugar, not that corn or beat derived garbage they put in the coke here in the USA.
