Of course it's ugly. It's a penny loafer. It is less hideous than what you posted though.

As loafers go, this isn't bad. I might even wear something like this.

This is more my style. I have this shoe in dark brown and I wear it to work most of the time. It goes with khakis, black slacks, even goes with jeans. And it's comfortable.

Oxfords before Brogue. Were you raised by heathens?!?

I refuse to dress up. The next suit I wear will be in a coffin.

I dress for comfort only.

One good thing about pointy shoes is that you can squish the roach that runs into a corner. :)

I'm just pulling your chain about the shoes.... I still refuse to dress up however.

I am genuinely curious and am not being an a-hole -- what do you do for a living? I myself have no choice but to wear business casual, as I presume Jules does as well.

Same here. I don't wear a suit to work but typically wear a pair of slacks with either a dress shirt or polo shirt and dress shoes. I never wear a tie or jacket.

I work from home so putting on underwear is business casual and actual pants are my formal business wear.

I am an electronics and automation technician for a global manufacturer. I don't think I could stand a job that requires a dress code. I did that already with 20 years in the military. Now I wear what I want and only cut my hair if and when I feel like it. Life is good!

If you didn't notice above I am only pulling you guys chain about the shoes. Not for me, but to each his own.
