This summer I want to install a cable tv wallplate jack in my room. Right now above the room in the attic a cable runs down to my mothers room to her TV.
Can I just slice the cable, attach some ends back on, connect it to a two-way splitter, and run another piece of cable down the wall in my room??
I am pretty sure you can do this, but I wanted to make sure and not piss my mom off and leave her without cable
