Is it possible to convert a coaxial cable (from the
cable jack on the wall) and put to a cable box (IN), and have the coaxial cable (OUT) connected to an (RCA) composite
adapter to hook up to the Radeon VIVO Video-IN ?

Or does the signal need a converter (like thru a vcr- which
is said to work)? thanks.

You want to connect your cable box to the video in on your computer, yes?

The coax carries RF-modulated video and the video in is composite video. So, you need a demodulator between the two. A VCR would work, connect the coax from the cable box to the RF-in on the VCR and the composite video-out from the VCR to the video card. Don't know if you can buy a stand-alone demodulator, usually folks want to go the other way (i.e., composite->RF).
