Ok, here goes. I just moved into a house. The top floor has 3 bedrooms, but only 2 have coax jacks. My room doesn't have any jacks. So I was wondering if I could at a "Y" coax splitter from one room and bring it into the my room where I would split it again so I can connect the modem and watch TV. This is all going to be in the walls and such. Will the splitter possibly 2 make the modem inoperable or slower???
Now on the other hand I could run RJ 45 (cat5) jacks through the house. But how do you do that? Do I connect a one to one connection from one room to each other room. So I have like 4 cords going from the router to the wall, then each of those goes to its respective room??
Confusing but thanks guys!
