Coax FM antenna

Is it cheap/easy to get a replacement for the dangling wire that comes with my receiver? I have a receiver that takes a coax connection for the FM antenna. I dont need a huge antenna...just the piece of dangling wire that it comes with is good enough for me, but i can't seem to find a replacement for it.

Is it the screw on coax connection or the push on type without threads ?

If its just the screw on type then you can get a 300ohm to 75ohm adapter from radio shack for about 2.00. Then attach a short wire to the screw terminals on there and your all set.

If its the kind without threads then you will need to find an adapter that fits that connector.
I haven't had much luck with those and on my setup I actually replaced the connector on the reciever with a screw type. Have to open the receiver, solder it on, etc.
