coax audio cable connections, etc.

HI
I posted another question earlier about software to burn dvd's.
Another dumb question...
If I were to buy a new dvd player, do I have to buy the coax connecting cable?
The reason I ask is on my current dvd player I use the svhs for video and the optical output connected to my receiver for the audio.
I looked at a few dvd players on line and they just have the coax output for audio along with the analog audio outputs.
I looked a checked the manual for my receiver and it looks like it will accept the coax cable for the audio.
If I need the coax cable is there any decent places to buy on line? Do I buy the s/pdif ones, etc? Been a long times since I have bought and need a refresher course! LOL
Thanks

or if you have a spare white/red audio cable, you can use that as well.

or if you have spare component red/blue/green cable, you can use that as well.

They're all the same

Thanks for the info!
Over the years I have collected enough of those cables to have a sale on Ebay!! LOLOL
Found out my old Sony dvd/vhs player has the coax out and will connect thst to my receiver to make sure everything works before I buy a new dvd player.
Thanks

Red 'n' white are not suitable as they are stranded wire (for analog audio only) whereas all the others mentioned are coaxial and thus can be used for both digital and analog audio (including subwoofer), and analog video.
