I have the Optorite DD0201 and after reading quite a few reviews on the Ritek G04, decided to pick up 2 spindles of 25 each from supermediastore.com unfortunately very few of them have actually worked and even those only burnt at 1x not the rated 4x..Initially i thought it was my drive as I have it hooked up on a USB enclosure but I asked my friend to try out the other spindle and he had the same problem as well.. I tried contacting supermediastore for the RMA but they say that they will only pay/replace the unused disks plus i have to pay for return shipping.. I ended up using most of the media as i tried various speeds etc and paid $48 for both of them.
Do you think i should try and contact Ritek about this? I have their CD-R's which are really good not sure if I was just plain unlucky or what..

still trying to find them sold as Ricoh..only seem to find them as pkged by other resellers like Imation,Memorex,Arita,Sony,etc. but..those media resellers also pkg other manufacturers as well like Ritek,MCC,CMC,etc. ..really hate that hit/miss approach.
