Very true. Subsidizing renewable energy is picking winners and losers. Subsidizing coal mining is protecting good American jobs.

He even gets the polar vortex/bomb cyclone stuff wrong. Coal plants went offline during the vortex when their coal piles froze solid plus other mechanical issues and the only major outage during the second event was a nuke that tripped due to a transmission problem.

Stick a bunch of 10MW wind turbines off the east coast and you'll have more power than you know what to do with so the NG supply can be used for domestic heat alone.
