sunday:

explosions in the sky

i am stoked. the highs are supposed to be between 99 and 103 but the lack of humidity should make it bearable.

I would go with rage just b/c spank rock will probably be touring/seeable in the future...dunno about rage.

explosions will rock your face off.

i went the year radiohead/pixies/cure/flaming lips/kraftwerk/beck etc... played.

great time, but ridiculously hot in the daytime.

be prepared for the heat and plan accordingly.

WTF GO SEE RAGE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I was going to go, bought 2 tickets and everything but I'm not able to go since I got a new job but my mom and my sister are going in my stead.

I wish... the lineup is by far the best of any U.S. festivals this year IMO. I would probably pay the ticket price just to see The Arcade Fire and I'm sure a lot of people would say the same thing about Rage.

Hopefully I'll catch Andrew Bird when he comes to Minneapolis is a few weeks.

i plan on catching the first part of rage and seeing what happens. i will stay for the whole show if they are on.

do not miss andrew bird if possible. i saw him at bonnaroo last year and he is mind blowing live.
why? was the highlight of the show. he created multiple loops on the fly, and it is one of the most amazing performances i have seen.

are you kidding me??!?!!? if i got tickets to coachella and didnt see rage, i would've consider the whole weekend a waste of both my time and money.

luckily im a underground hip hop head and will be able to see some heavy hitters along with rage at rock the bells. all is right in the universe again. 😀

btw if you havent seen the roots yet, enjoy. one of the best live acts ive ever seen from one of the hardest working bands in music at the moment.

the air conditioned heineken tent was a blessing the time i went.

you campin or staying in a hotel both nights?

got hooked up with a free room all weekend at a casino 4 miles away in indio. playing poker will be the primary activity when not seeing shows.

I saw Rage at the very first Coachella festival, except that time they were directly followed by Tool. Eat yer heart out. 😛

It was literally mind-blowing. At that time, I wasn't as much a Tool fan as I was a Rage fan, but it was that show that opened my eyes. Now, I'm comfortable saying that Tool is my favorite band overall.
