I'd be surprised to see Krzyzewski go. I mean he is a college coach, I think if he goes he'll end up another Pitino.

Plus he gets the best players at Duke.

Not really...the best players are now skipping Duke and going to the pros.

Thats wayy out from left field what happened to Rudy T. This sounds like a Kobe thing. If he had not skipped college he would have played for Coach K at Duke.

Duke held a press conference at 5:45 to acknowledge that K is in talks with the Lakers.

So nice of the Lakers to focus my hate in one place. :)

Bad move on coach K's part IMHO, the mindset of NBA players is completely different from college players. But, I guess he could always just prove me wrong and do well as a NBA coach.....*shrug*

That would be a great move by the Lakers. There is no guarantee he will win right away but you replace one of the greatest pro coaches with one of the greatest college coaches. At least he has the star power to draw fans and possibly players.

I think it's more like K won't get the best recruits anymore since they're going to the NBA, so he figures he might as well join them.
