Why come to work if you cough every 30 seconds...you're obviously not feeling well and you're annoying the piss out of everyone else...choke on those cough drops (that evidently do not work) you bastard...

Maybe because he's more concerned about keeping his job than he is about your pansy ass and your mere annoyances?

I thought staying home from work when you're sick was more of a courtesy to your other employees and your work itself, since it doesen't benefit anybody if you're spreading your germs everywhere.............

I've worked for three employers who didn't care if you were throwing up in the bathroom on every one of your breaks. If you missed work, you got attendance points and could get fired (no sick leave).

There's got to be a good reason that he's there. Maybe he can't afford to get a smaller paycheck, even by one day? Why don't you just ask him why he won't go home?

We get the same amount regardless because our sick days are paid...I would ask him why he insists on being here but at 7:30 I get to leave and I feel it's best to stay out of other people's affairs...besides, the way this guy sounds I wouldn't want to get within 20 feet of him...

He probably has some sort of lung infection, but otherwise feels fine.
