co-worker having trouble with "adult daily links"

well...thats what she emailed me with.
she really cant give me any more info about it. she says it always "pops up."

i was wondering if anyone had any experience with this problem...if it was like those AIM profile hijacks people get stuck with.

Yeah I had that happen right when my boss was at my desk... I'm like wtf!!! Turns out an exe had somehow been d/l to my systray and system directory and would randomly "pop up". Luckily my boss is an IT Manager so he believed me.

my uncle has a problem with this i think i finally got rid of that crap with adaware it never went away no matter how many times i ran spybot. *adds Hijack This to favorites* have to check this out when i get home this might really fix the crap like the lycos search bar..but he lurves his yahoo toolbar that crap gets on my nerves :\

i think its on her home machine. she has ad aware and i advised her to run that.
she also has a program the name of which i cant remember but the tagline is "dont get caught with porn on your computer"
googled for it but it didnt turn up any actual free programs. a lot of the parents in the district have this one. i wish i could remember the name.
