What the topic says ^

Today at work, a cashier (who is Pakistanian) was checking a white guy out. The @$$hole customer gives the cashier his credit card, and since it was at the peak time of the day, our credit verification services were down, so we had to verify it over the phone. Before we verified it over the phone, the machine took 2 minutes to say "Please wait". The @hole became impatient and asked "WTF is wrong man?" The cashier said "Its our credit verification services, just a little backed up, it'll just be a little longer". The ahole muttered something to himself. After the phone verification was over (total et: 4 minutes) the ahole just let the cashier have it. Said "this is the longest wait I've ever had, etc, etc". The cashier apologized, even though it was not in any way his fault, but the ahole kept going on. Then the ahole said "Why the fnck are you getting an attitude with me boy?" The cashier was like "what are you talking about?" The ahole starts yelling at him again and finally the cashiers yells at him like "WTF do you want me to do??" The ahole says "Let me talk to your manager!!" The cashier gets the manager over there, the ahole yells at her too, shes like "Sorry bud nothing we can do." The ahole as he is walking out yells "I'm never coming here again!!!" and then looks back at the cashier and says "Go back to your home country." It's at that time that he (the cashier) jumps over the counter and is about to go beat the fnck out of the ahole before the manager restrains him.

In this situation, I probably would have thrown the manager out of the way and beat the living $hit out of the guy, and might have pulled my knife on him if I was pissed off enough.

Simply put: if you're going to be an a$$hole at the store because you're an impatient little fnck, don't piss other people off in the process.

Times like these give me a new appreciation for the humor contained within the movie Clerks.

Unfortunately, the general public seems to be composed of a disproportionate amount of a-holes, and they make life miserable for people who work in stores.

if your manager had any guts, she would ensure that customer lives up to his promise to 'never come back again.' If he ever does, have him escorted out by security, or the police if necessary.

Just reading that pissed me off. However, if I were the cashier I would act like it didn't bother me...that way the guy who is making a scene just looks like more of an idiot.

Racism is such a pain in ass. I remember one time when we went to Burger King in LA. There was our family of five + my uncle his wife and kid. Well this little old lady whop was wearing eye protection ( from noise) was complaining we where to load. She got the manager and complained something about wetbacks etc... The manager really couldn't do anything since we where not disrupting anyone. Anycase this lady finaly gets fed up and walks out. Stops and call my mom a bitch. She doesn't say anything cause she knows better. But my younger bro being a smart ass let out a few comments that she could not come back on. To top it off, other people in the restraunt had to laugh what my bro said about her to. :) But the manager came out and apologized to my mom and said they have had problems with this lady.

I don't remember what he siad has this incident was 18-19 years ago.

OOO...rascism...I HATE IT!

I was at KayBee toystore when I was looking at some monogram B-17 model kits(hey, I didn't know Monogram sucked when i was young), a man and his, I presume, girlfriend starting following me around the room, and started going..."Ching chong, wang chong..."...eventually afterwhile, his dumbass girlfriend must've gotten tired and said, "let's leave him alone now." Sigh...

Oh oh...I was at Quiznos once, and it was my turn to order, with my friend right behind me. My friend wasn't ready, and was clearly evident to be behind me. So I get up to order, and he asks, "are you ready?". So I start giving him my order, and he says, "No, not you, are you ready?" asking my friend if he was ready to order. Argh. My friend got the same meal as me, and his food tasted a lot better.

My english teacher says I complain too much about rascism...she asked me, "So...why don't you capitalize caucasion?" I tell her...I never really thought to, "Oh...well now it's a proper pronoun." Great...out ofa 500 word essay, she has never seen, she picks on me, and tells me to redo it so that Caucasion is capitalized. Greeat...

If I was the manager, I wouldn't have gotten in the way to begin with. Would have been too much fun watching the dickhead get what he deserved.:D

I hate aholes like him. I have a few stories to tell from my own life.

1) When I was a kid, other kids in school would say racist things all the time to me. "beloved patriot, beloved patriot, etc" I'd get mad at them but I couldn't kick their butt so I'd let it go. I think almost all kids, regardless of skin color, have heard other people insulting them with racial slurs.

2) When I was in the 8th grade I transferred to a new school because of boundary changes. I was 4.0 student and had won spelling bees, essay contests, etc. The principal in the new school however placed me in an ESL class. She never asked me nor my parents if I should be placed in ESL. Of course my parents got very angry when they heard about this and the principal's only explanation was that my last name sounded asian. OMG, racist b!tch! Try to picture this:
Secretary: There's a new student.
Principal: Really, what's his name?
Secretary reads name.
Principal: Oh that sounds asian, let's place him in ESL.
The ironic thing was that I later graduated as the valedictorian.:D

3) Recently my parents and I were walking out of the driveway when a bunch of teenagers in a car drove by and yelled "go back to your country!" Although many people have said racist things about me, it still makes me angry when I heard it. Even now as an adult, dealing with racism hasn't gotten any easier. Well, those are a few of my stories.

Some people are impatient to the point where it is a mental illness. Most of those kinds will die early from heart attack or stroke. They guy probably needs some meds. Sorry to hear about that. I am impatient with people who are A-holes. :(

i hate when stuff like that happens, i just think its really sad. im indian, and ive been through the whole nine yards of racist namecalling and all, im only 15. lots of kids at school dont have respect for anyone but themselves, the best thing to do, is stand up to the person (as long as u know u can handel it) becuase specialy at school, outa all of the times ive stood upto someone, nuthing has happend...no violence. If u let it go unoticed, its gonna happen agian from the same person.

The problem with speaking with someone who is racist is that ignorance is uncurable. As someone once said- they'll lower you to their level and them beat you with experience.

Impatience. Fear his card would be turned down by some dumb computer and he'd have to go elsewhere to purchase the item he needed. Stupidity. Lack of self-control.

I see impatience everywhere in America. It's an ugly trait that rears its head mostly on the highway. My time is more important than your time. Get your bloody carcass out of my way so I can BE where I want to be. (Many people skip the "going" part in their minds.)

All those old people you see driving on the highways got to be old by being patient. Many of those in the cemetary are dead from heart attacks, accidents, strokes, gun fights, etc. caused in large measure by their impatience.

So, the next time you're feeling impatient remember: It's killing you.

Sounds like that guy was asking for it IMHO. I had a similar incedent when the register wouldn't accept a guys credit card...he left rather in the same way. We later find out the credit card was stolen!
