cnr slot on asus cusl2-c

I have a asus cusl2-c motherboard and it has s cnr slot, motorola makes a modem that goes in what they call a anr slot are these two the same thing and if so has anybody any experience with this kind of modem, how do the compare to pci or isa?

A CNR slot is backwards compatible with AMR devices, so it should be OK.

These devices are equivalent to WinModems....CPU reliant.
