CNPS7700 on an A8R32? And, tweak my new system build

So here's what I'm planning to get:
Asus A8R32-MVP (wish I'd pulled the trigger last night when they were in stock for $225)
Opteron 165 - planning to OC as far as I can go
Zalman CNPS7700
Thermaltake Tsunami VA3000SWA - not married to this case, what I really wanted was an all-aluminum mid-tower with 120mm fans and a handle, but didn't find anything else; this one has everything but a handle and isn't horribly gaudy.
Thermaltake 500W PS
Corsair 2x1GB DDR500. I'm not sure if I'd be better off going with lower-latency modules with less bandwidth, or with these higher-bandwidth modules.
MSI X1900XT 512MB
Raptor 150GB
Pioneer DVDRW and Lite-On DVD-ROM

Does anyone know definitively whether the zalman cooler will work with this board? I know it does with the nforce A8N32, and looking at the pictures it *looks* like there is slightly more clearance on the A8R32, so I think it should be fine.

Also, any other suggestions? I am least certain about the ram.

Obviously this is a gaming computer, and I plan on carting it to lan parties. Definitely want to game at 1600x1200 with eye candy on my 21" LCD, and I plan on getting a DLP HDTV next summer or fall for some uber-gaming. I want to get everything up & running so I can play Oblivion in all its glory when it comes out the 20th.

All looks good except I would get a different Power supply - go with a more reliable brand like OCZ, Enermax, or Fortron. an Enermax Liberty 500w would work great for that system (the X1900XT requires [so it says] more than 30A on the 12v rails).

grab the G.Skill DDR500 RAM for $30 less, use that money for the PSU.

Hold out on the Zalman, live with the opty HSF first - its quite good (has heatpipes). Granted its not the best, but I just set my rig up yesterday and its very quiet. I'm not sure it'll be cool enough when I start to OC, but we'll see.

For a good all-aluminum case, try the Lian Li v1000 or Lian Li PC-7A. I'd also change the Zalman 7700 out for a Thermalright SI-120 or maybe a Zalman 9500. If you're going to be lugging it to LAN's you might want to look at the Aspire X-QPack with a MicroATX board.

Answered one of my own questions, the CNPS7700 works fine on this board.
Thanks for the advice, ended up switching to a 620W Liberty PSU
