They interviewed a student who was in the classroom at the time, and he said one of the professors told the student that he wouldn't be allowed to take the mid-term (don't know why yet), and the student pulled out a gun and shot the teacher several times, and then shot the other professor.

Apparently he's now shot himself as well.

This hits a bit too close to home.
Mrs. Tallgeese's mom is a nursing professor.

She's had to fail TONS of folks...which is a GOOD thing.
I definitely would not want some half-wit who was "passed through" a nursing program to forget and reuse a needle, or fail to tape a central line, or make some other bone-headed mistake that could cost someone their life.
