28 hours from impact to arrest, that's got to be some sort of record.

Is there any doubt that the FBI kicks ass?

yes, ID's on all hijackers --- arrests for those with connections to it --

I bet as we speak someone is being arrested -- we just won't find out about it for a few hours ---

not the hijackers... the hijackers are DEAD (remember the crashes?), but those involved in the planning and everything (supposedly)

this really makes me happy. At least the govt. knows when to get things done quickly.

They said the CNN reporter who was killed had phoned her husband with the seat number of one of the terrorists. A VERY smart move on her part, as it may have helped id the rest.

I´m glad they cought them, but I´m afraid that this is just an arrest to please the bloodlust some people have after this.

Barbara Olsen was her name - CMOH posthumously?!?

Perhaps it is too early to tell but the first 24 hours of ANY investigation are the most crucial, the odds of find the perps after that decrease exponentially...

Perhaps it was a good thing that air travel is suspended - they couldn't fly away. One thing though, is it true that they came in from Canada to Maine to board the flights? Perhaps that is why the intel community didn't have as much warning as other times...

Latest developments
? Law enforcement officials in Boston and Vero Beach, Florida, took several people into custody, sources told CNN. Heavily armed tactical police entered the Westin Hotel in Boston and went to the upper floors of the hotel on an operation believed connected to Tuesday's terrorist attacks. At least four ambulances were on the scene.

It's more to gather information, there's nothing suggesting these people did anything, they might know of the people who did this though.

I agree! I'm so sick of people saying that the FBI are bumbling idiots. They have given us fast, effective results nearly ever time.
