A decrepit incumbent who got to hold the bag for Trump's policies, and the pandemic disaster, is probably NOT going to do well in polls.
Now with Saudis and the world's oil producers cutting production in time for US elections.....
They want inflation to bury their enemies. It might.
Okay but they aren’t part of OPEC and has a thumb to control pricing. But what’s stopping American big oil to flood domestic markets for dirt cheap like how the Saudi’s do locally? And why isn’t Russia being fined for them dumping far below OPEC artificial inflated prices? The United States produced the most oil in the world in 2022, at around 17.7 million barrels of oil per day on average. Saudi Arabia and Russia followed as the second and third largest producers, and also rank amongst the top countries with highest oil exports.Aug 29, 2023
The lies need to stop. America produces the most oil in the world and pretends to be beholden to foreign oil. That means corruption is vast and rampant in American energy. The simple solution is to stop gouging prices and bring gasoline back to $1 per gallon.
Nothing should be stopping big oil from flooding the American market with cheap gas. That was my point in showing oil production numbers.Okay but they aren’t part of OPEC and has a thumb to control pricing. Even if we did not export any.In 2022, the United States consumed an average of about 20.28 million barrels of petroleum per day
Maybe, but time is not on Biden's side. The point? Polling at this point in time is meaningless.
Exit polls have been way off for the last 3 or 4 major elections. That is a science. So is the science wrong or have they been fixing elections? The election is a year off and any polls at this time are practically meaningless.
It's always better for Dems to believe they're behind, because they have a bad habit of staying home when they think they're ahead.
I mean, people need to wake up and realize Biden is in huge trouble. He is deeply unpopular and doesn't even have full support among Dems.
We are sleep walking into disaster like 2016.

I'm absolutely certain the democrats could come up with a solid candidate if they really wanted to.I mean, people need to wake up and realize Biden is in huge trouble. He is deeply unpopular and doesn't even have full support among Dems.

Voting means that you are exercising your civic duty during elections. It also gives you the right to criticize how government works and is run. I like bananas, just not in this Republic. The polls now mean nothing about the election results, but these polls are a damning indictment of how terrible so many Americans are and how fucked this country is.
Not sure why anyone takes polls this far out seriously, even when they are conducted legitimately.
It's ~14 months until the election. Biden is basically at his floor, and will spend the next year or so talking about how inflation went back down after his plan was signed. How jobs have been at record levels since he came into office. How the other side is full of nutjobs like MTG and he's running against a rapist.
People don't start paying attention until....The point? Polling at this point in time is meaningless.

The rate of inflation has decreased, but the actual inflation/costs are not back to pre-COVID levels and likely never will unless we have several months of negative inflation, which I'm not sure has even ever happened in the history of our economy?
So, you're suggesting that Biden somehow force the corporations to lower prices?
Deflation has happened in the past and if people think inflation is bad, they really wouldn’t like deflation. The rate of inflation has decreased, but the actual inflation/costs are not back to pre-COVID levels and likely never will unless we have several months of negative inflation, which I'm not sure has even ever happened in the history of our economy?
