This press release says it all in a "positive" tone, but in reality it sucks.

If you have an XM Radio you know that it was the only tech station they had, and a good listen on long trips or the commute to work. The Desmod Crisis show was particularly good, but most all of it was worth listening too. Now it's gone.

My hope is that XM radio will hire the radio personalities and create a similar station of their own. There's more details here at DesmondCrisis.com.

If you are an XM radio subscriber and liked the station, please let them know that you want them to keep the format and personalities here at XM Radio's "Contact Us" page.

:( that sucks, but i felt that the station was too business-tech based. who was the jerk that hosted the late night show? he was funny sometimes. i actually called in once to ask about nforce motherboards when they were about to come out, and he said i was an idiot just for wanting to build my own computer in the first place.

I used to listen to it in the car (on AM 910 here in San Jose), but I had the impression that Desmond Crisis was the only guy who knew his stuff. The fact that they had actually hired Alex Bennet to field tech calls on the air was ludicrous, and the "Online Tonight with David Lawrence" show was just pro-Microsoft, pro-RIAA/MPAA propaganda without any real substance. The problem with C|Net radio was that they had to dumb it down so that "normal" people would listen, but by doing so they lose their more techically inclined audience.

I will not miss it.
