This might a bit of an advanced question but I thought it was worth a try.
I have this EPS file that I supposed to be set to 2 spot color for printing on a press, however when I open it up with Adobe Illustrator CS2 and take a look at the output I see a 4-2 meaning a CMYK and a PMS coated and uncoated instead of the required Black and 1 PMS color.
my question is - how can I make the image a 2 spot color and is me opening it in illustrator causing it to revert back to 4-2.
The spot colors are in the swatches but I really only really used to process color.
Also if my document is going to be on matte paper do I just the PMS uncoated and black as a final output?
Any ideas?
Thanks,
Akhen
