cmos? what does it look like?

where is the cmos chip located on my mobo? and what does it look like?

I think it is usually a socketed eprom chip.

Will usually have a sticker on it to cover up the clear window on the chip. This window is how they erase the chip using ultraviolet light. I don't have a picture. What are you trying to do?

It will probably be beside the CMOS battery...and little round shiny silver thing. It might have a label on it that says award, ami, or the like.
