Hey, I just sold a motherboard to another person and he said the motherboard would not post.
He probably has a completly different setup than what I had.
Do I need to clear the CMOS in order for it to work in his setup or does that not matter?

It could. Better try it and find out. You may have your RAM settings tighter than his can handle.

Well, I did not change any settings in BIOS for this motherboard. But would the CMOS contain information for like the CPU or memory or something?

Yes, but generally, default settings work with just about any combination. It is possible that there are jumpers that need to be set on the MB for FSB of the CPU, as well. Make sure the ATX lead from the PS is set well, while you're at it.
