How do I remove the RTC battery and clear the CMOS? Where is this battery located?

to clear CMOS, a sure-fire way would be to first note the orientation of the battery (where the + is), then remove it (should be a little lever), and place it back in in about oh 25-40 min, just to be on the safe side .

It took me all of about 3 minutes with a Google search to find out that on pages 36-38 of your "Product Guide" that you got with your MB, it goes over battery replacement. READING is good!
