Hey,

Can anyone confirm me that clearing the CMOs with the onboard jumper reset to fatory bios settings? Only the settings changes or the whole bios revision get back to when you bought the board?

Also after moving the jumper do you need to power up in order to clear the CMOS?

thanks

Correct

No but some boards need the PSU turned off/unplugged to reset CMOS.

Actually some motherboards don't work unless you change the jumpers back to the orignal settings in order for it to even to turn on. But after that everything should be back to the orignal settings. Good luck!!!

It only changes the settings back to default it will not change the revision of the BIOS to the original. Only a flash process can do that.
