CMOS clear on an EP-8KHA+

Should you be able to power up the motherboard with the CMOS clear engaged or does everything just stay dark (no LEDs lighting up or fans moving)?

usually, when i've left CMOS clear engaged on mobo's, nothing turns on at all, like you described.

you should NOT TRY TO POWER THE SYSTEM ON WITH THE CMOS JUMPER SET TO CLEAR....jsut incase you were confused about that
