CMOS Battery Voltage?

I was wondering what the CMOS battery voltage should be? I have a MSI K7T266 Pro2 mobo...and I use a program called PC Alert III (it came with the mobo)...there is a reading for the CMOS battery voltage and it reads 3.5V ...but the battery itself says 3V (like most CMOS batteries that I know of)...its not causing any problems in my OS stability or anything...but does anyone know why this so? I recall seeing 3V when I had my Antec 300W PSU...I recently changed to an Antec TruePower 430W and noticed the 3.5V. But I can not be 100% sure if this was really the case (that the change in the PSU caused the change in battery voltage).

Any hints?? Thanx.

BTW...its running an XP1700+ w/ 256 PC2100 ddr.
