Why is it all of a sudden that whenever I want to access my CMOS settings on my Microstar board (6330) that after hitting the [DEL] as instructed it simply goes to a black screen with a cursor at the top left? The manual also suggests holding down the [CTRL]+[ALT]+[ESC] as an alternative, but sometimes this also gives the same results.

I've also been in the PC Health section on the CMOS, where the CPU temps and fan speeds are tracked and have had the PC lock-up completely.

Help!

* AMD Duron 750 (not overclocked)
* 128MB Crucial CAS2 RAM
* Creative Annihilator 2 MX

Thanks...

Try resetting the CMOS which is on the motherboard(check your manual),also maybe a Bios flash upgrade might fix this,btw be careful since this may or may not work if it`s a new board then you may have a problem somewhere so you might have to exchange it for a new one,if you don`t feel confident I would exchange it for a new one or take it to the store where you purchased it & let them do it.
