CM4 doesn't run

Hi,

System:

P3 600EB
ASUS P4V8X
TNT2 M64 - 32Mb
HD - 10Gb - some 5Gb free

I have installed CM4, with the lattest enhanced version.

When I start the game, I just get a black screen. After a few seconds, the monitor enters standby (ligh changes from green to orenge). To recover, I just press the keyboard "Start" key, it changes to windows and opens the start menu, I make Ctrl+Alt+Del -> Task Manager -> Select CM4 and End Now ...

I thought: "maybe it tries to go for a resolution/refresh not supported by this monitor". So I installed refresh force 1.10 to correct this "refresh out of range" possible problem. Problem persists.

I have lattest detonator drivers, lattest windows SP, all windows updates, directx latters version (9.0b). It just doesn't work ...

Any ideas?

Your computer has detected that the game sucks more eggs than a egg handler. Windows detected that the game took 4 years to develop and the most they did was a crappy 2d game engine. And decided that in this day and age of 3d video cards, that you should not be punished by playing it. lol.

Check for some updates for it. Make sure you have the latest drivers for everything, and if you do, reinstall them anyway, making sure any antivirus program or file checker is disabled whilst installing.
