If anyone is running some decent fans that are turned down to like half speed, is this case pretty quiet. I am running a Chieftec Dragon case right now (love it) and it is dead quiet but around Q3 im going to upgrade my entire system. Right now it is between this and a Lian Li case.

I have the stacker and if you have almost any 120mm fans and run them at 7v, its really quite. Heres some pic of mine. 1 2 3

I 'm just water cooling the cpu, I have to add black or UV light and maybe paint the old beige optical drives but its got 3 120mm fans and its quite.

Weight, anyone? The Stacker is like 50 pounds empty iirc. I keep my computer on a flismy table next to my desk (so it's elevated to cut down on the dust) and I don't trust something that heavy on the table. I have to agree that the Stacker is a great case, one of the best, but don't ever think you'll be moving the comp around.

Weight consideration is going to be an extremely variable condition. If I wanted a heavy case, I'd make sure it was sitting on something sturdy.

i bought the lian li V1200, http://www.silverpcs.com/product/CS_PCV1200, recently, and i LOVE it. but if i had seen this stacker before i purchased the Lian Li, i would have bought the stacker.

don't get me wrong, there is NOTHING wrong with this lianli. it has some great features, but i love the way this stacker looks.

I was actually looking at this: Link but the only thing that is deterring me is that it is kind of small. Other than that i really like it.

it's a bit tight. trust me, i have a LianLi PC67 (all the 6xxx's are the same inside) and it's nice but it is a bit tight.

It is listed at 14kg, or 30 lbs or so. It shouldn't be too bad to move around once loaded (guessing under 40 lbs), but not something you want to drag around to a lan party a couple of times per week. I don't move my computer much, so I doubt the weight will be a problem. Probably not something you want on a flimsy table, though.

Is the stacker really only 21.1 inches? That's pretty small for a full tower. Also, to use all three of the fans in the front, can you have anything in the bays?

Not quite. Im running 4x 80mm Panaflo 12L's at 1/3 speed, and a 92mm Panaflo (CPU) at 1/2 speed. On top of that i have a Powerstream PSU (which is dead quiet 🙂). My computer is in my bedroom so it has to be very quiet, it is definitely audible but very quiet. I dont know what else to do to quiet it down. Im thinking of getting a HDD suspension kit, and putting in some sound dampening foam.
