I have the infamous Cooler Master RC-690 and I just bought new fans for it as I have been using the OEM ones for years and to put it plainly they suck at moving air (Quiet though) so I ordered new fans from Petra's Tech Shop and I was wondering where to put them (In the case) and which way around
I bought 4 of the Yate-Loon D12SM-12 (The standard Medium Speed Black ones) and one Yate-Loon D12Sl-12 (The clear one low speed one with white LEDS) I already replaced the front fan blowing air into the case with the white LED fan so I have 4 fans left with 5 spots for more fans (I already have a good fan in the back of the case as an exhaust fan) I have space for two on the top and two in the side panel I will probably just put one on the top and one on the side with two spares so basically my question is which was should the side/Top panel fans move air?

Thanks

Infamous? That's actually a pretty decent case for the money.

As for your fans...you should try to balance input and outgo for air flow.
Since you already have the front fan blowing in and the rear fan blowing out, put the top fan as an exhaust fan, (get rid of heat build-up at the top of the case...heat rises) and the one in the side panel blowing in. That should help to provide cool air for your CPU cooler and GPU
