That was one sweet PPV. I can't wait to see what he does with it now that he has left the WWE.

Different entertainment for different folks. However I can comment on PPV, I don't think I will ever do it.

If cheer leading is a sport then so is pro wrestling. :)

And synchronized swimming and golf and the WNBA.................

I say its real enough....

So, what you're saying is that a completely scripted entertainment soap opera aimed at prepubescent boys is the same as "sports" that have the outcome truly in doubt........OK.

I think I stopped caring about wrestling when I was 10.

Why'd you wait so long?

I'm not sure why you people care whether it's a sport or not. It's probably not, but who cares? It's just a tv show. Stop getting so mad over everything. It's just something to watch on tv. It's not life or death, it's just television.

It's quite athletic. I mean it's soap with muscles, but the stuff they do is quite impressive.

I had a 45 year old guy I worked with actually believe it was real. I never had a serious conversation again with him after that.

I'm surprised McMahon let Punk walk out as Champ, if his "leaving" is real. I know his contract expired at midnight, but i haven't heard him signing with any other production.

McMahon must be confident he's gonna re-sign with WWE... either that, or you'll heard that Punk "lost" the belt in a loser-leaves-WWE 'house show' and the title is now vacant.

The WWE CEO decided MC Punk would sell the most memorabilia so he made him champion!

AWESOME!

It was so predictable from the way Vince McMahnon was promoting John Cena. This is only to lead to try and push for more viewers for the next PPV. They have a staff of psychologists who sit and determine what matches will best cause people to give up their cash. Rednecks are easily parted from their money. Have you noticed that since the Mexican population has grown, so has the Mexican wrestlers? You must appeal to your viewing audience and the WWE tries very hard to find a wrestler that appeals to virtually everyone. Yes, it is a gimmick and fake, but how they manipulate the population with who wins and loses if really fascinating.

it's certainly more of a sport than golf or diving, and maybe no less of a sport than gymnastics (well, the floor exercise at least).

:hmm:
