CM 690

I bought a CM 690 and noticed you can actually put in 7 fans in total inside the case, nice! 3 fans are pre-installed and I bought a few of these Blue LED CM fans and was wondering if I can put another fan (intake) in the front of the case. I have only one DVD drive to install so my other bays will be empty. Can I install the LED fan just behind the frontal mesh, above the pre-installed front 120mm fan so I can see the blue glow from outside.

I have never modded a case before so if someone can help with this installation it would be great!

TIA

Ah yes, zip ties. The duct tape of the computer world. Duct tape, zip ties, and a pocket knife will solve 90% of all life's little problems. (the other 10% requires only a dremel tool 😉 )

lmao. i just so happen to carry a pocket knife, and i have zip ties and duct tape in my back pack at all times 😵. wouldnt need to mod the 690 though. just fill up all the slots on it with 120 or 140mm fans and you have enough airflow to use it as an air re circulator in your room

Do you have that for work faxon, or your home computer? 😉
