cm 612s coming sept...

Heh, somehow reminds me of certain Scythe heatsinks.

I'm looking forward to reviews and pricing information.

Poor man's Noctua?

No ugly fans here, though. Will be interesting to see the reviews. I like the uniform contact surface and the 120mm fans -- no RAM clearance issues, hopefully?

Wonder if you can put two fans on it.

What? No "Direct Contact Heatpipe Technology"? I figured that was a bunch of marketing bullshit. Does nothing but make applying paste more tedious.

Well when none of the top 7-8 air coolers have this feature (Archon, Silver Arrow, NH-D14, Venemous X, CM V6GT, Havik 140, Megahalems, Genesis), you start to question its effectiveness!

Does anyone here do any cooking? The better pots/pans all have thick, solid bases.

Also, aren't the heatsink bases usually soldered to the heatpipes? That's about as perfect heat transfer as you can get. Sometimes I think that the reason direct-touch heatpipe heatsinks were "invented" was cost cutting. Leave out material and a manufacturing step, and advertise it as a feature!

wow, what a waste of a review. they benched it on a 2500k at stock clocks. big fail imo, y didnt they run it on a 2500k @ 4.4 - 4.5??? how much usd is 45 euro? thats the going price they say...
