The scenario: a ProLiant CL380 that needs to be rebuilt (for reasons that I won't go into here) but needs to keep serving Web pages. The basic plan is to rebuild node 2 while node 1 keeps serving Web pages, then transfer control of the RAID array (and IIS) to node 2 while we rebuild node 1.
The problem(s): Win2K Advanced Server setup hangs at the 'Starting...' screen, never gets to the partitioning screen. Tried disconnecting the heartbeat cable, now goes to a blue screen IRQ_NOT_LESS..., even after reconnecting the heartbeat cable.
Anybody who has traversed this terrain and has some advice?
