Clubs/parties suck when...

b) You don't know more than 1-2 people there.

And most importantly:

c) You're a designated driver and have to stay sober

Now a) and b) can be easily offset when c) is not a problem, but otherwise for me, I'll just be the silly asian boy who doesn't know any moves and is too anti-social to make any real connection with anyone there.

At a party, no. At a club, with loud music, where you can barely talk, and have to resort to dancing: Yes it does suck. I personally cannot have fun in a club completely sober. I need some booze to enjoy dancing. Drinking, actually makes everything more fun, since it relaxes me, and gives me energy.

I'm not looking for a wife in a club and I don't need alcohol to get confidence to talk to a girl. Most guys are the same way.

Feel guilty if you're picking up a girl that's noticably drunk, while you're completely sober. I'd feel guilty.
