Club Nintendo Elite Status Rewards Announced

Just received an email about the Club Nintendo Elite Status rewards.

You must have earned 300 coins to qualify for Gold status and 600 for Platinum. Coins are earned by registering certain Nintendo products (although I believe some third-party games qualify) and completing surveys about them. This has already reset for 2010.

Platinum Members can choose from:
- Little Mac vs. Doc Louis bout (Wii download, standalone mini-game)
OR
- Life-size Mario hat

Gold Members will receive:
- Club Nintendo Original Desk Calendar - 2010 (whopee!)

I actually managed to reach Platinum (and still have some games to enter 😱)--I'm thinking of going for the Mario hat since it's a physical item.

Lame. I'd rather have the gold reward, and I'm Platinum. I thought platinum people got the gold reward as well. Fail.

Really? You'd rather have a desk calendar? It looks like you can choose that reward if you want to as a Platinum member. I haven't tried, though, because I don't want it 🙂.

I ended up going with the hat. It'll be funny at work for a few days.

That hat looks pretty cool. Unfortunately I only have one game, SMG, that I can register. I now have 50 coins. 🙁 Anyone want to donate? 🙂

Are all Wii games worth 50 coins? What is a DSi worth?

It's too late to get in on these rewards, any coins you get now will count towards the 2010 Elite Status and rewards.

DSi is 160 coins
Wii Fit is 80
Wii games are 50
DS games are 30
DSiWare, VC, WiiWare are 10
