Swiftech's HydrX coolant with distilled water is the only stuff I've ever used in my loops since '08 and I've never really had any issues... except the custom setup that caters to the 4790k is not behaving.
I first filled it maybe 10 or 11 months ago but the machine doesn't see too much use. It was a little low so yesterday I added some fresh water and a little mix, but it clouds right up after about 15 seconds. I had a similar thing happen last week with my older E8400 workstation but it cleared instantly after I added a tiny bit of fresh mix.
I'm thinking the tubing in the Z87 setup is to blame but it appears to be the same stuff as in the other PC. I let it sit overnight and it's much better, but still isn't as clear as it should be. There was a bit of foam or suds on top in the reservoir before but there's less now.
Am I just noobing out or something?
